Writer/ Producer / Director / Editor — Alex Morsanutto
Alex is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a double-major in film/TV production and broadcast journalism. As a young filmmaker, he has already directed nine short films, five music videos and five commercials. In the field of TV, Alex has spent three semesters working at ABC’s Good Morning America and ABC News Now!
In January 2013 he co-founded Silvermine Productions (www.silvermineproductions.com) for which he directs music videos, short films, and commercials. His last film, Good Soldier, won the craft award for best cinematography at NYU’s New Visions and Voices film festival along with being a finalist for best film.
His passions in the world of film/TV are aimed at directing, writing, and acting. Alex enjoys creating stories of the thriller genre and attributes his influences in filmmaking to Alfred Hitchcock, Christopher Nolan, David Fincher and Ridley Scott.
Producer / Editor — Jun Shimizu
Jun Shimizu is Japanese-American filmmaker/photographer/illustrator/actor/writer hailing from the border between France and Switzerland. He is currently majoring in Film and TV Production with at NYU with a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies.
Jun keeps busy, having had internships at Media Distribution company PMK*BNC and Hybrid Theoretics, and is actively involved with UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage documentation project as a videographer, lecturer, and documentarian. In addition, he is the founder of Memorylines Productions (www.memorylines.com).
Producer – Chris Santiago
Chris is a young writer/producer/director that has made three short films, the last of which went on to win a Bronze Remi for the High School Division at Worldfest Houston.
At 22, Chris has worked professionally for artist Eric Fischl’s America Here Plus Now Project, Sharp Entertainment (Man Vs Food, Doomsday Preppers, Punkin’ Chunkin’), and as director Brad Anderson’s (The Machinist) personal assistant on his latest film “The Hive”.
Cinematographer — Henry Zaballos
Originally from Oakland, California, Henry is a cinematographer studying Film/Television production at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He has been the Director of Photography of numerous short films, including many previous NYU productions.
Zaballos has also crewed on many professional New-York based projects, including work as 2nd AC and Loader on three independent features currently in post-production. Prior to attending college, his own short films have been featured in over twenty-five film festivals around the world.
Composer– Sam Warfield
Sam is a music composer, sound designer and audio engineer. He has written music for film, web video, video games, dance and a variety of other mediums.
He is currently enrolled in the graduate Film Composition major at NYU Steinhardt, where he is pursuing his Masters in Music. In 2013, he received the Alan Menken scholarship award for film scoring.
